Erin and Matt Wells are both NBCC board-certified, Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associates in the State of Indiana. The Wellses both completed their Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Valparaiso University, after a previous life where they were both professional opera singers (...no joke).

Josh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in counseling for over five years, assisting individuals and families in navigating the hurdles that life presents. Josh has special expertise working with adolescents struggling with severe mental illness and families focused on improving their quality of life through the implementation of behavioral changes.
He has completed certified trainings in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) focused on skill usage for emotional regulation and problem solving and in reducing the symptoms related to trauma exposure. Through this experience and the use of other treatment philosophies (such as behavioral modification, strengths based, and solution focused modalities), Josh has been able to assist individuals with navigating their anxiety and depression symptoms as well as working towards goals that improve their overall quality of life.

Meagan has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults with trauma, complex bereavement, and mood disorders. Meagan is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has completed multiple trainings in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Meagan utilizes a Humanistic and Existential approach with clients while encouraging accountability and self-forgiveness.
Before joining Wells Family Counseling, Meagan spent over six years working with adolescents at a residential treatment facility as both a psychiatric technician and as a therapist. In addition to her role as a therapist, Meagan has been working as a Hospice Medical Social Worker since 2019.

With a variety of professional experience, interests, and training, Ann uses an eclectic approach incorporating holistic and traditional therapies to meet individuals’ needs across a lifespan. She has worked with survivors of abuse, in agency and private practice with children, and most recently in a community-based health center with adults and teens.

Carmen Gober is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the State of Indiana and has been working as a counselor for over seven years. Carmen has extensive experience working with both children and adults, and is certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). She is fluent in Spanish, and is also CPR-certified.
In addition to her work with as a private practitioner, Carmen has worked at the Midwest Center for Youth and Families, Goshen Community Schools, and the Indiana State Prison. Outside of work, she engages with her community through volunteer service with CASA and PADS for women.
Rachael Whitworth is a Licensed Social Worker in Indiana. She has been working part-time as a therapist for the last several years in Northwest Indiana. While Rachael works with individuals of all ages, she has spent her career working with and for children. She worked for over a decade in the child welfare system and has spent the last 2 years in a local school system as a behavioral specialist. Her work is based primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Modification and Social/Coping Skills Building.
Outside of work, Rachael’s time is spent with her puppy, Smith. He is a 1 year old lab mix. He is currently working on training to become a therapy dog.

Sara has previously worked in mobile crisis response, assisting individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. She is passionate about decreasing mental health stigma while increasing accessibility for those in need.

A double-I.U. alumna, Sarah holds a BS in Music (Voice) with an Outside Field in Theatre from the Jacobs School of Music and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business.
Prior to moving back to Indiana, Sarah lived in New York City where she worked in film, television, and theatre, culminating in an arts administration role at The Juilliard School. A lifelong volunteer, Sarah has served in many church roles and secular organizations to aid her community. Lifting others up is a core value for Sarah, and is one of the most satisfying dimensions of her work at Wells Family Counseling.

Marie has a BM from DePauw University and MM from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. When she’s not at WFC, Marie can be found singing at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, or at home with her husband and five children, two cats and 13 chickens.
